Design is not only a way of thinking and creating, it’s a tool for solving problems, shifting perceptions, and telling stories. It evokes emotions, and transforms realities by organizing, simplifying, and making the world more accessible.
I ask questions to truly understand who I’m designing for, ensuring every project is meaningful and human-centered. I thrive on learning, collaboration, and working with multidisciplinary teams.
I’m a designer with 15+ years of experience building brand identity systems, digital platforms, editorial content, packaging, and cultural communications across the U.S., UK, Mexico, and Finland. I bring a global perspective to creating locally grounded design solutions. I have led international teams and developed award-winning projects featured in publications, exhibitions, and permanent collections. For me, visual communication is a tool for storytelling, social change, and community engagement.
My work has been honored by the American Institute of Graphic Arts in New York, The Creative Review in London, the Museum of Architecture and Design in Chicago, and Output Magazine in Berlin. I earned an MFA in Media Design from Art Center College of Design, where my thesis “Seams: Media Design, Fashion & Social Justice” received multiple awards and became part of the permanent collection at the Center for the Study of Political Graphics in Los Angeles. I also hold a BA in Graphic Design, Magna Cum Laude, from Iberoamericana University in Mexico City.
Outside of my career, I’m energized by sports, the outdoors, and good food, and I treasure traveling with my husband and our two kids.

Gourmet Week
Gourmet Week is an annual fundraising event at École Bilingue de Berkeley that needed a strong identity. We took on the project pro bono, starting with one simple idea: make food fun—especially for the kids, our main audience. By giving food playful personalities, we created a visual language that spread the word, brought the cause to life, and kept the community engaged.
Playful design for a good cause.

Interactive Clothing
I designed two blouses inspired by digital glitches, turning software errors into prints, embroidery, and playful variations of scale. That experiment evolved into a skirt with semi-transparent pockets, allowing images to be swapped in and out—a garment in constant transformation.
Creative Direction, Design and Sewing: Adriana Parcero.

Seams
Seams: Fashion, Media Design, and Social Justice uses storytelling to highlight the drama behind substandard clothing production. I used a fashion collection as a medium to portray an inconvenient reality. Each garment describes the drama behind sweatshops and the challenges garment workers face daily. My goal is to raise awareness about the people who create the clothes we wear every day and to humanize their struggles.
Creative direction and Video-ethnographic research: Adriana Parcero.
Photography: Isabel Avila.
Model: Rebekha Hogdson.
Sewing aide: Carrie Green.
MFA thesis, Media Design Program, Art Center College of Design / 2003.
